                                                               Individuals in Group

According to Coral Tarris in  the article "Individuals in Group," individuals on their own think and act differently than they do in a group. In addition, there is a reason that influence the nature of group than the nature of individuals. Psychologists, by their experiment refer to this phenomenon as "diffusion of responsibility". the more people in a group, the less chances of help. people perform some tasks better when working on their own because they feel responsible and guilty  of what will happen, with uncomfortable conscience in the future. this essay will discuss the key reasons for my opinion in greater detail.

First, the more people in a group the lazier each individual in it becomes. In another word, each individual in a group think the same way that other individuals think. As a result, no one can act or take a decision for help. For example, two years ago, my friend Said Kanoun, 25, was on his way to class at Long Island University when he saw a woman faint at the uptown R train platform at the Atlantic Ave. Many people saw her fall but no one had helped her he said. after a while he decided to jump down onto the tracks and help the unconscious woman. In addition, he added " In my head I am  thinking that someone will help her after I realize that I have to act ".

Second, Individuals on their own feels guilty or responsible of what will happen if they don't act. As the experiment states, students were seated in a room, as a staged emergency occurred: students on their own went out to report, but the students were sitting in a groups did not move. Furthermore, People who are alone when an accident occurs are more likely to depend on themselves, because they imagine if there is a victim they would be responsible or guilty for what happen.

In conclusion, people seems to disregard their own life from laziness. Even adults and professionals are guilty of this. this is the nature of human being, for that reason there are heroes in this world. however, i think that people should think and act the same way as in a group or by there own.

I Know the Truth, So Don't Bother me with Facts

According to the article "I know the truth, so don't bother me with facts" by Jeffrey Klugger which shows how human minds are changing regularly. also about a research made at "Ohio University", in which that study confirms that is easy to manage other point of view and what they believe in.I agree with Jeffrey Kluger about the idea that human being can change
regularly. this essay will discuss the key reasons of my opinion in greater detail.

First, humans have a basic knowledge from their childhood which makes them reversing their opinion instead of thinking deeply. The media is one of the biggest issues and powerful instrument that can changes people's thinking. furthermore, the media can be in any place in the world that we can not be part of. For example, concerning the health of the president of my country "Algeria",I knew from the media that he doing well and he is capable to govern the country for another presidential term. Moreover, most of the people believe that the president is in full physical and mental health,in fact, people were deceived by the Algerian media, the president still sick.

second, most people deceive by rumors. rumors often grow because people want to know, so they make up some reasons according to their limited knowledge or benefits to spread rumors. Although, there are many proofs in front of us, we usually ignore to use our brains and to think deeply. As I mentioned before in the previous example about the Algerian president "Boutaflika", since the media confirm that he is in full physical and mental condition, however, I tried to convince my friends that he is still in a bad situation by the fact that he never show up in the TV about a year, after they realize by evidence that is truth, they change their minds.

in conclusion, i feel that humans remain dupes and deceive by rumors and it will most likely intensify with the new advancements in media, however, we do have control over how to use our brains and establish a pattern of open communication that allows us to remain aware of what's being said.

Effect of Advertisements

According to the article by Kalle Lasn, advertisement are everywhere we look, it is extremely harmful to the mind. Due to the fast rise of advertising in the recent years, people should realize the harm that caused by advertisements. I agree with Kalle Lasn that advertisements effect our minds. this essay will discuss the key reasons for my opinion in greater detail.

First, I agree that advertisements effect our minds by the fact that we can not avoid it. For example, As soon as I check my Email or Facebook Address, I can count many advertisements. Furthermore, I receive more then twenty advertisements emails a day instead of advertisements brochure and letter. although, I changed my email address many times just to avoid advertisements email from different companies, there is nowhere to run.  As a result I can not distinguish my official emails from advertisements email. Without the annoying advertisements email, I had not changed my email many times and lost most of my friends contact.

Second, I agree that advertisement effect our minds because people cannot keep pace with all  the new advancements. nowadays, advertisements pop up everywhere, in your office, at home, supermarket and even in the highways. It seems that no one is exempt and we are forced to be a part of this commercial politics.

In conclusion, advertisements will always exist and it will more likely augment as each year goes by, we have little control over that. i think we have control over how to control our minds.
